Now the housebuilder has made its latest contribution of £950, bringing the total raised so far to £7,425 of the £9,500 commitment.

This ongoing support reflects the company’s dedication to the vital, volunteer‑led lifesaving service, which is 95% operated by volunteers and funded by voluntary donations.

The partnership between Hawthorn Gardens and Queensferry RNLI continues to highlight Taylor Wimpey East Scotland’s commitment to supporting the local community.

The funds donated will directly benefit the local lifeboat station, helping to equip and maintain its operations as it serves the Firth of Forth with its B‑class Atlantic 85 lifeboat—one of the fastest in the RNLI fleet.

Paul McKeown, Fundraising and Partnership Lead, said: 'We are incredibly grateful for the continued support from Taylor Wimpey East Scotland and their local team at Hawthorn Gardens in Queensferry. Each donation makes a meaningful difference to our volunteer crew and the service we provide. This latest contribution helps ensure we can continue delivering our 24/7 lifesaving operations for the people of Queensferry and the wider Firth of Forth.'

Kirsty McGill, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey East Scotland, commented: 'We’re proud to continue our support for Queensferry RNLI. Reaching £7,425 in donations reflects the strength of our partnership and our commitment to investing in the communities where we build. We look forward to fulfilling our full pledge as Hawthorn Gardens progresses.'
