Annie Moon clairvoyance night supporting Montrose RNLI
A special evening of clairvoyance is set to take place in Montrose this April, raising essential funds to support local RNLI volunteers.
On Saturday 25th April at 7pm, well-known clairvoyant Annie Moon will host an evening of spiritual insight and messages at the Royal British Legion Montrose, with all proceeds supporting RNLI Montrose Lifeboat Station.
Tickets are £25 per person, and every pound raised will help fund the lifesaving work carried out by the volunteer crew at Montrose, part of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).
The RNLI is a charity and receives no government funding for its lifesaving service. It relies entirely on donations and community fundraising events to remain operational. The cost of maintaining a fully trained and equipped volunteer crew is significant. It costs approximately £1,360–£1,600 per year to train a new RNLI lifeboat crew member, covering specialist training such as crew emergency procedures and sea survival.
In addition, kitting out a new crew member with essential safety gear costs over £686 per person, covering base layers, thermal layers, dry suits and the full all-weather lifeboat kit. For lifeboat stations with two lifeboats - like Montrose - volunteers who serve on both boats require two separate sets of kit, doubling that investment.
These essential costs ensure that when the call comes - day or night, in any weather - the Montrose volunteer crew are fully prepared with all the correct kit to respond.
The evening promises to be both uplifting and entertaining, offering guests a memorable experience while supporting the charity that saves lives at sea along the Angus coastline.
