A warm welcome to Oscar and Brian

Lifeboats News Release

It was a pleasure to welcome Brian Hurst, Deputy Station Manager of NCI Bass Point (National Coastwatch) and 14 year old Oscar to the station on Tuesday 17th February.

RNLI/Lyndsay Bray

Oscar is currently working towards his Bronze Duke of Edinburgh's Award (DofE) in volunteering and is spending some time with the team at Bass Point whilst taking a little time out to also visit us.

Senior Station Technician Jon-Paul Whaley showed Brian and Oscar around the lifeboat station and the relief Tamar class lifeboat currently on station here at The Lizard. Good luck with all of your future DofE ventures Oscar.
