RNLB Rose to Undergo Routine Maintenance

Lifeboats News Release

The Lizard Lifeboat launched on exercise on Sunday 15th February.

RNLI/Lyndsay Bray

RNLB Rose made her way to Falmouth under the command of Coxswain Darren Thirlaway where she will stay for the next week or so to undergo some scheduled and routine maintenance.

Our crew transferred their kit etc from RNLB Rose on to a relief Tamar class lifeboat - RNLB 'Irene Muriel Rees' which was brought down to Falmouth from Milford Haven by Coxswain Andrew Putt and crew.

We are hopeful that RNLB Rose will only be away from us for a short while, in the meantime our station and crews remain ready for service with our relief lifeboat should we be required.
