13 successful pass-outs conclude an intensive week of assessments at Angle RNLI

Lifeboats News Release

Last week, 13 of our crew members undertook assessments to round off months of hard work and training.

Firstly, congratulations to Crew Members Anthony Thomas, Gareth Thomas and Nathen Houston on passing out as All-weather Lifeboat (ALB) Navigators, after each completing a 4 hour assessment covering various search and rescue scenarios including a simulated tasking and search, radar and position fixing and paper chart navigation.

Secondly, congratulations to Crew Members Phil Jones, Tom Meehan, Nick Gale, Rob Davies, Finn Frost, James Findlay, Allen Price, Seymore Phillips, Graham Booth and Matt Nicholas on successfully passing their Tier 2 ALB Crew assessments.

Covering every aspect of crewing the lifeboat, including Man Overboard Recovery, Towing, Mooring and Berthing, Helming and Anchoring, the crew were put through their paces by an RNLI Assessor.

Well done to all 13 for their dedication and commitment to training over the past few months. These recent successes strengthen our ability to crew our lifeboat and demonstrate the continued success of the lifeboats operation from the town of Milford Haven.
