Newbiggin RNLI Christmas Lights Donation
A record breaking donation was received from this annual fundraiser for Newbiggin RNLI.
Local lifeboat supporters Marc and Debbie Turnbull presented a generous donation following their fundraising initiative.
This successful lifeboat fundraising team came along to present a cheque to Newbiggin lifeboat station today for £2152 following a well supported annual Christmas lights fundraiser.
The work to deck out their Ashington home had taken over a week to complete and judging by the many positive comments it has been worth it.
Marc and Debbie's interest in Newbiggin RNLI follows a rescue undertaken over 25 years ago and over that time regular donations and fundraising has taken place.
