The RNLI are seeking face-to-face fundraisers on the South coast. This paid role helps the lifesaving charity reach thousands of people every year, sharing important water safety messages with beachgoers and visitors to some of the summer’s most popular events.
If you love our coast and are passionate about promoting our lifesaving work, this could be the job for you! We are looking for fundraisers on the South coast across West Sussex and Brighton. A role within the RNLI’s face-to-face fundraising team offers flexible working in great locations. It is vital in helping the RNLI continue its lifesaving service, encouraging new supporters to sign up and donate.
You will inspire support for our lifesavers' amazing work, and you will also play a vital role in educating the public on how to respect the water. We will make sure you are given excellent training so that you feel confident and comfortable approaching people.
This year, the lifesaving charity is looking to recruit around 160 face-to-face fundraisers, with part-time, full-time, seasonal and year-round opportunities available.

‘Being a face-to-face fundraiser is a rewarding role; it is vital in helping to raise funds to support the RNLI’s lifesaving work and in delivering important water safety advice to those visiting the coast. The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. Its volunteers provide a 24-hour search and rescue service around the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland coasts. The RNLI operates 238 lifeboat stations in the UK and Ireland and more than 240 lifeguard units on beaches around the UK and Channel Islands. The RNLI is independent of Coastguard and government and depends on voluntary donations and legacies to maintain its rescue service.
