Happisburgh RNLI Lifeboat Station Heritage Station Open Days
Happisburgh RNLI volunteers are looking forward to welcoming people to their Heritage Station Open Days, which will take place on Sunday 13 and 20 September 2026 from10am at Cart Gap.
They are part of Heritage Open Days and numbers are limited and need to be booked in advance.
The volunteers will be on hand to share the stories of saving lives at sea at Happisburgh since 1810.
There will be an opportunity to meet some of the current crew and to see what they do and how they do it now.
There will also be the opportunity to see how ordinary local people used to launch and operate the lifeboat, and how things have developed over the years to reflect changes in lifesaving at sea.
