Dart RNLI called to rescue stricken jet ski

Lifeboats News Release

Dart RNLI volunteers were tasked at 8.03pm on Sunday evening (Aug 16) after reports of a jet ski in difficulty near Fleet Mill, opposite the Sharpham House Estate.

Dart's D-Class locates the abandoned jet ski
The D-Class lifeboat, helmed by Tom Shanley and crewed by Sam Smale and Robin Johnston, along with Dartmouth Coastguard Rescue Team, found the jet ski and, in the fading light, located two riders and took them to safety upriver in Totnes.
Dart Harbour & Navigation Authority was made aware of the stranded jet ski for recovery purposes.
