Conwy RNLI seeking volunteer storyteller to help share lifesaving stories

The volunteer role offers a unique opportunity to become part of the RNLI family while supporting the station by sharing rescue stories, promoting events and fundraising activities, and highlighting the dedication of local volunteers.

Based at Conwy Lifeboat Station, the Lifeboat Press Officer works closely with volunteer crew members, the wider station and the RNLI's Communications Team to raise awareness of the charity's mission to save lives at sea. Responsibilities include writing press releases, promoting station activity through local and social media, responding to media enquiries and helping to showcase the impact of the station within the local community.

The station is looking for someone with strong communication skills, a flair for storytelling and an interest in media, photography and digital content creation. Previous media experience is welcome but enthusiasm, creativity and a willingness to learn are equally important.

The position offers valuable communications experience and the chance to make a meaningful contribution to the charity's lifesaving work, as well as being an integral part of Conwy Lifeboat Station.
