Bangor RNLI show appreciation for local business support
Bangor RNLI Helm James Gillespie has presented local business The Courthouse, with a framed poster as a token of appreciation for their generous support to the station.
On the 17 May this year, Bangor RNLI officially named their new inshore lifeboat Ruby Robinson. This day also marked the 60th anniversary of the RNLI having a lifeboat station in Bangor. To celebrate these events Bangor RNLI held a barbecue and live music event at the Courthouse.
The event was supported by Alison, Kieran and their team of staff at the Courthouse.
Speaking after the event, Bangor RNLI Helm James Gillespie said: 'We cannot thank everyone at the Courthouse enough for their support of our 60th Anniversary barbecue. The team were absolutely fantastic and nothing was too much trouble; we all had a brilliant day. We could not operate or save lives at sea without the support of our local businesses and community and we are extremely grateful to everyone that supports our charity.'
