Llandudno RNLI Songs of the sea and shore

Lifeboats News Release

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday afternoon at Llandudno Lifeboat Station for our Songs of the Sea and Shore concert in memory of Sarah Roberts. It was a truly special occasion that brought the community together in celebration of Sarah’s life.

More than 90 members of the Rock Choir filled the station with energy and harmony, performing a mix of well-known favourites along with several of Sarah’s much-loved songs. The Conwy Sea Dogs then lifted the atmosphere even further with a rousing set of traditional sea shanties, which had the audience singing along.

Sarah was a dedicated volunteer in the Conwy Lifeboat shop and a valued member of the Rock Choir, and it was wonderful to see both of these communities come together in her memory. Thanks to the generosity of all who attended, over £1,200 was raised through donations and a raffle, which will go directly to supporting the RNLI’s vital work.
