Lifeboat Luncheon Ladies help save lives at sea
RNLI Ladies’ Lifeboat Luncheon Club hand over donation to the Lytham St Annes Station.
Each year between October and the following April, the Lytham St Annes Ladies’ Lifeboat Luncheon Club meet on the third Tuesday of the month for a convivial lunchtime meal and to raise funds for the local RNLI station.
A varied, interesting and informative speaker programme is arranged for each month to complement the excellent meal, held at the Fairhaven Golf Club, Oakwood Avenue, Hall Park, Lytham. New members are always welcome and will find it a friendly and enjoyable experience.
A donation of £1,900 from the previous year's fundraising was handed over at this season's first meeting - by the Luncheon Club Chair Hazel Preston to Sue Forshaw, a member of the Luncheon Club and the Station Fundraising Team.
