The regatta has supported Falmouth RNLI since 2007 and in that time has raised over £26,650 for the charity. This year’s event was held on Saturday 2 August and included rowing, kayaking, paddleboarding and swimming races and shore-based activities that included a fancy dress competition for children, sandcastle building, egg and spoon and sack races and a tug of war.

Falmouth’s Atlantic 85 inshore lifeboat Robina Nixon Chard also attended the regatta and was brought alongside for people to view.

Accepting the donation from Tina on board the Station’s new Shannon class all-weather lifeboat Decibel Too, Jon Blakeston thanked the regatta for their continuing support.
