Happisburgh volunteers get support from the community
Prior to Tuesday night training on 30 September the crew welcomed some special visitors, Maggie and Ken the 'legends' behind Sutton Quiz Night.
They popped into the station to hand over a cheque for £500 to Happisburgh RNLI Lifeboat Station; the crew gave a massive thanks to Maggie and Ken, not forgetting all the Quiz Night heroes who helped raise this amazing amount. Their help keeps this fantastic charity afloat.
If anyone has some spare time on Saturday 25 October, there will be another opportunity to help raise funds. A Christmas Mince Pie Open Day will be taking place at Happisburgh Lifeboat Station, Cart Gap from 10am to 3pm.
Christmas cards, calendars and diaries will be on sale. There will also be lots of stocking filler ideas and a chance to 'try your luck with the tombola'. There will be mince pies, pastries, cakes, coffee and tea available.
All profits from this event will go to Happisburgh RNLI, so the volunteers are able to carry on saving lives at sea.
