This summer 13 of the group baked, cooked and served a sensational afternoon tea to 64 guests to raise money for their chosen causes, one being the RNLI.

Group member, Pete James visited Swanage and presented a cheque to the volunteer lifeboat crew.
Pete is an avid diver who regularly dives from Swanage and was keen to support Swanage Lifeboat Station. Pete said 'I have never yet had to use the services of the RNLI, but I am grateful to know they are there!'.
Volunteer lifeboat Coxswain Gavin Steeden showed our visitors around the all-weather lifeboat as part of their visit. Gavin said 'I always enjoy showing people around our lifeboat to give people an insight to what we do and the capabilities of the boat. Pete and his dive buddy Helen were testing my knowledge with lots of questions, and it was great to see their genuine interest in what we do and to be reminded that we have supporters across the country. '
