Great Yarmouth and Gorleston RNLI fundraiser receives Long Service Award
During a monthly meeting of the fundraising Guild, a long service award was presented to Barbara Beales.
The award was presented by Frances Mobbs who said: ‘In my capacity as Vice Chair of the Fundraising Guild, I had the great honour and pleasure of presenting Barbara with her Long Service Award at our October RNLI Guild meeting.
‘This award recognises the dedication and commitment of our long-serving volunteers.
'On behalf of all of the RNLI volunteers, the Fundraising Guild, and all the crew of the Great Yarmouth & Gorleston RNLI Station, we congratulate Barbara on her 20 years of service.
'Congratulations Barbara, what an achievement!'

The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. Its volunteers provide a 24-hour search and rescue service around the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland coasts. The RNLI operates 238 lifeboat stations in the UK and Ireland and more than 240 lifeguard units on beaches around the UK and Channel Islands.
