New arrival at New Brighton RNLI
New Brighton RNLI received the wonderful news that two of its volunteers have become parents.
Volunteers Connor and Ffion welcomed their little boy, Robin, into the world on Sunday 26 October at 1.19pm weighing 6Ibs 8oz.
Connor and Ffion are both volunteers at New Brighton RNLI. Connor joined in 2022 and holds many roles at station which include being the Lifeboat Press Officer as well as Navigator and trainee Helm on the Atlantic 85 lifeboat.
Ffion joined the station in 2024 as the Lifeboat Medical Advisor. Ffion's role includes conducting medicals with the crew and making sure they are all up to date.
Now safely at home with baby Robin, the couple shared the wonderful news with their fellow volunteers - who of course, were overjoyed to welcome a new future crew member to the station.
Everyone at the station wishes them the all best as they start their journey as new parents.
Connor said:
'Being part of the RNLI crew at New Brighton already feels like being part of a big, wonderful family. It's such a lovely moment for Ffion and I to be able to welcome Robin into our own little family, and into the wider family of our crew at station. We will be sizing him up for yellow wellies in no time!'
Notes to Editors:
