St Aldhelm Christmas Tree Festival supports Swanage RNLI through festive event
Volunteers at Swanage RNLI lifeboat station are honoured that the organisers of St Aldhelm Christmas tree festival have named the RNLI station as one of the two local charities they will be supporting with this year’s event.
Running from Saturday 6 December to Monday 8 December, at St George's Church in Langton Matravers, the Christmas Tree Festival will be open for everyone to drop by and admire the trees, all of which are sponsored and decorated by local schools, businesses and organisations. The church will be open for anyone wanting to stop by and enjoy the trees, with local musicians providing entertainment throughout the weekend.
Refreshments will be available during the festival opening hours, and all proceeds raised from the event will be going to local charities, which for this year have been named as Swanage RNLI and Purbeck Youth Music.

From humble beginnings with just 17 trees on display and pre-recorded festive music in 2017, the St Aldhelm Christmas Tree Festival has grown year on year, raising over £10k for a range of charities and now showcasing live local musical talent.
