'Lest We Forget', the lifeboat crew attended a church service at Berwick-upon-Tweed Parish led by the Reverend Lee Taylor and Reverend Dr Adam Hood.

After the church service the crew fell into line to march up to the War Memorial Castlegate Berwick, for the ‘Call to Remembrance’. The parade was led by the British legion Pipe Band and followed other local organisations associated with the town.

Crew member Shona Richardson laid the wreath on behalf of the RNLI at the town war memorial.

Afterwards the RNLI Crew marched down Berwick High Street, where the Kings representative Lord Joicey and Town Mayor John Robertson took the salute on the Town Hall steps.

After a brief interval the RNLI crew re-assembled once again at the Spittal War Memorial, along the street from Berwick-upon-Tweed lifeboat station. Here with the Civic Party, H M Coastguard, local villagers, school children, Scouts and Beavers and Brownies, all paid their respects for the villagers who gave their lives in the conflict of war.

Past Crewman now RNLI fundraiser Michael Ross laid the wreath at the Spittal War Memorial of behalf of the RNLI.
