Swanage inshore lifeboat tasked to possible missing climber
When a member of the public found some clothing and bags at the top of the cliffs to the West of Anvil Point they made a call to the UK Coastguard to raise their concern.
The inshore lifeboat (ILB) crew were paged and the lifeboat was soon on its way to Anvil Point. However before they arrived on scene a report came through over the radio that the climbers had safely made it to the top of the cliff and confirmed that the items were theirs.
With the situation resolved the volunteers were released to return to station.
ILB Crew: (Helm) Darren Tomes, Matthew Steeden, Alice Haw
