Swanage lifeboats launch to paddleboarder caught in the tide at Old Harry Rocks
A paddleboarder realised they were in trouble and called HM Coastguard for help when they could not make round Old Harry to return to Studland.
The board and paddler were taken on board the ILB and returned to Studland beach, with the Shannon class all-weather lifeboat (ALB) escorting.
The speed with which the casualty had contacted the coastguard meant that this situation was resolved quickly and both lifeboats returned to station within 30 minutes of launching.

ILB Crew: (Helm) Fergus Holley, Phil Palmer, Ben Bamber
