Tai Chi pair top £1,000 in donations to Hunstanton RNLI
Two Tai Chi coaches presented £187 to a Norfolk lifeboat station on Sunday 2 March.
The couple have also started holding so-called sound baths, where people relax by lying down and listening to soothing sounds.
A 'bath' at Heacham Scout hut attended by 20 people on Friday 28 February, raised £187 for the charity that saves lives at sea.
The money, which they presented to the crew at Hunstanton RNLI the following Sunday, takes the total they have raised for the charity that saves lives at sea to more than £1,000.
'We've got two passions,' said retired postie Allan, 72. 'We've got a passion for Tai Chi and we've got a passion for what the guys do here.'
Holistic therapist Margaret, 68, said: 'We've got skills and we like to help other people with our skills, to fund raise for the community because it benefits all of us.'
The couple are planning another Tai Chi session in aid of the RNLI on The Green at Hunstanton on Saturday 26 April - World Tai Chi Day.
They are also looking for an enclosed outdoor venue for future sound baths and can be contacted via [email protected].
