Succulent and cacti sales raise £579 for Hunstanton RNLI
A Norfolk pensioner who grows succulents and cacti to sell on his doorstep has raised more that £500 for the charity that saves lives at sea.
'I grow succulents and cacti, split them up and sell the them at my front door for the RNLI,' said former construction industry worker Mr Goldie, from nearby Brancaster Staithe.
'They go out there and risk their lives to save other people, that's why I like to do it.'
Jeff Lenton, one of the station's launch authorities, said its work would not be possible without the kindness of those who support the RNLI.
