-
£300 from the St Bees Priory Church Christmas Tree Festival, where the local community came together to celebrate the season and support a lifesaving cause.
Dick Beddows, Lifeboat Operations Manager for St Bees RNLI said:
'We are overwhelmed by the generosity and enthusiasm of our community. Every donation, large or small, plays a crucial role in helping us maintain our lifeboat service. These funds will go towards training, equipment, and ensuring our crew is always ready to respond when the call comes.
'We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated in and supported these events. The RNLI relies on generous donations from members of public to support our mission to save lives at sea.'
The St Bees RNLI team is proud to be part of a community that consistently rallies together to support its lifesaving efforts. They look forward to continuing to serve the region with the same dedication and passion in 2025.
