With over 400 nominations and 22 award categories, we are very proud to say the Rhyl RNLI Water Safety Team have won the 'School Swimming and Water Safety Impact Award 2025'.

Over the past year, the team have provided an invaluable service to local schools, holding multiple swim safe sessions over the summer months.

These sessions are vital for teaching water safety lessons to young people, ensuring the development of confidence and safe usage of the waters.

Coxswain Martin Jones said: 'Education is crucial for saving lives at sea, we want to ensure we teach people how to use the coast safely, keeping people safe now and in the future. The Water Safety Team have been invaluable for this and we as a station are immensely proud of their results.'
