Littlehampton RNLI to host Saving Lives at Sea: A Live Experience
Littlehampton RNLI Lifeboat Station is hosting a charity evening on 28 March 2025, where RNLI volunteers will recount memorable shouts and moments from RNLI history.
Mark Tewkesbury was aboard Hasting RNLI’s all-weather lifeboat, Richard and Caroline Colton, when it was captured on a now viral video nearly capsizing in heavy seas during a 2020 storm. Mark will recount the shout and reveal what it was like to be on the lifeboat during that heart-stopping moment.
Littlehampton RNLI’s volunteer crew look after the stretch of the West Sussex coast between Bognor Regis and Worthing. Littlehampton RNLI is independent from the Coastguard and receives no government funding.
