Cornish Calendar Raises Funds for St Agnes RNLI Lifeboat
Guests at a luxury holiday destination, Lambriggan Court, have helped create a special calendar, sold to raise money for a local lifeboat station.
Lambriggan Court owners, Fiona and Gary Crossley, have invited guests to submit their best holiday snaps to a calendar. The hosts sell the calendar to raise funds for St Agnes RNLI lifeboat.
On Sunday the volunteer crew were joined at their regular training session by Fiona and her daughter Sara and son-in-law Chucky who were married last year in St. Agnes. Along with a cheque, presented by Mrs. Crossley, the newlyweds made a donation to the station having asked guests at their wedding to support the charity.
Receiving the cheque on behalf of the station, volunteer crew member Laura Penhaul commented,
“It is so kind of Fiona and Gary and their guests at Lambriggan Court to choose to support the RNLI. We know how much hard work goes into creating the calendar each year and it is always lovely to welcome Fiona back to the station.”
