Leigh Hicks, of Combe Valley Campers, said : "For the third year in a row we were blessed with a dry (and occasionally sunny) day on the Stade to hold the Campers and Coffee ‘Christmas special’.
"It’s the second time we have held the event in support of Hastings RNLI and the support for the cause was overwhelming.
"We had over 70 vans and cars of all shapes and sizes dressed up for Christmas including a VW with 17000 tree lights!
"It was a wonderful, relaxed day and visitors could choose to view the decorated campers, visit the Old Town Christmas Fayre or speak with the wonderful volunteers at the RNLI Lifeboat station.
"With Carol singers, Christmas trees, and Naughty Elves a plenty, it was a fantastic way to kickstart the holidays.
"Thanks once again to the hard working team at the RNLI, maybe we'll do the next one in the summer!"
Hastings RNLI coxswain Paul McCleery added : "This was a fantastic event, we are so grateful to Leigh and Combe Valley Campers for organising it. And it was great to receive their cheque for £1200 :- an amazing amount. Every penny will be used to help us to save lives at sea."
