Happisburgh RNLI's Open Day will be held on Sunday 13 April 2025 from 11am to 4pm.

Happisburgh RNLI's lifeboat

The action will take place at the charity's lifeboat station at Cart Gap.

There will be the opportunity to see the lifeboat and meet the crew.

Live music will be provided by Pot of Gold Shanty Crew.

There will be a Tombola, water safety activities, a BBQ and other refreshments.

The event will also provide the perfect opportunity for people to find out how to join Happisburgh RNLI. Volunteers will be on-hand to chat about all the rewarding opportunities on offer.

The station is looking forward to welcoming as many people as possible to what promises to be an enjoyable day.

Key facts about the RNLI

The RNLI charity saves lives at sea. Its volunteers provide a 24-hour search and rescue service around the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland coasts. The RNLI operates 238 lifeboat stations in the UK and Ireland and more than 240 lifeguard units on beaches around the UK and Channel Islands. The RNLI is independent of Coastguard and government and depends on voluntary donations and legacies to maintain its rescue service. Since the RNLI was founded in 1824, its lifeboat crews and lifeguards have saved over 146,000 lives.
