On Friday (13 September) at 5.48pm, volunteer lifeboat crew from Beaumaris RNLI were tasked by HM Coastguard to a sole crew member of a yacht moored in Beaumaris Bay, who had slipped and fallen overboard when attempting to board the yacht from its tender.

In addition to the lifeboat volunteers, the Mobile Coastguard Rescue Teams from Penmon and Bangor had also been tasked.

A RNLI spokesperson said: ‘Our collaboration with the Coastguard ensures that we can respond swiftly and effectively. By working together, we can pool our expertise and resources, ultimately providing the best possible care and support to those in need'.
