Both lifeboats launch to assist in search for missing person

Lifeboats News Release

Both Swanage lifeboats were requested to launch at 11.25pm to assist Dorset Police with a search for a missing person.

Both boats launched and were quickly on scene and searching from Sheps Hollow to middle Beach in Studland.

With nothing found both boats were released to return to station just after 1am.

The RNLI charity saves lives at sea. Its volunteers provide a 24-hour search and rescue service around the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland coasts.
