Exciting opportunity at Minehead RNLI
Lifeboat station seeks new volunteer fundraising coordinator
The station is looking for someone with the energy and drive to organise our fabulous events locally, creating new and exciting events, and getting the best out of the team of dedicated volunteer fundraisers.
Minehead RNLI is "One Crew" and they couldn't perform their vital lifesaving role without the team of dedicated fundraisers putting on a series of events throughout the year including Lifeboat Day, Christmas carols and murder mystery nights, as well as representing the RNLI at numerous smaller events.
The role is voluntary, but out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed and you will receive training in the role. Applicants will need to have good interpersonal and organising skills.
Minehead RNLI Chairman Richard Newton commented "This is a key role in the station, helping to raise vital funds. We need someone with energy, enthusiasm and the drive to raise thousands, helping to keep saving lives at sea beyond the 200th anniversary"
Applicants are invited to apply online here Fundraising Coordinator - Minehead. Any questions about the role should be directed to the Recruitment Team on 01202 336067 or Community Manager Andrew Escott [email protected]
