Teignmouth RNLI volunteers receive Gift in Memory

Teignmouth Lifeboat recently received a donation in memory of RNLI supporter Paul Foster.

Family of Paul Foster with Teignmouth RNLI Volunteer Crew
Volunteers from Teignmouth RNLI recently welcomed the family of Paul Foster to the station. The family handed over a generous donation of £2427.50 which had been collected in memory of Paul, their beloved husband, father, grandad and friend.

Volunteer crew from Teignmouth Lifeboat were on hand to meet with the family, and show the children around the Lifeboat, the family thanked the crew for 'making us feel so welcome, it was a special morning for us'.

Everyone at Teignmouth RNLI extends their gratitude to the family and those who contributed in Paul’s memory for helping us to continue saving lives at sea.

The RNLI charity saves lives at sea. Its volunteers provide a 24-hour search and rescue service around the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland coasts. The RNLI operates 238 lifeboat stations in the UK and Ireland and more than 240 lifeguard units on beaches around the UK and Channel Islands. The RNLI is independent of Coastguard and government and depends on voluntary donations and legacies to maintain its rescue service. Since the RNLI was founded in 1824, its lifeboat crews and lifeguards have saved over 146,000 lives.
