Middlemarsh WI present generous donation to RNLI Dungeness
For the second year running, a generous lady from Middlemarsh WI has presented Dungeness RNLI with a donation of £500.
All of this hard work was completed by one lady named Judy who has been making homemade knitted goods and selling them at stalls in order to raise these funds that will help the charity continue to save lives at sea.
Vicky Morgan, Lifeboat Operations Manager, visited the WI to collect the donation:
‘The ladies of Middlemarsh WI and Judy have been such great supporters to us, and it was a privilege to come to see them today and thank Judy personally for her incredible contribution to saving lives at sea.
The most expensive item Judy sells is just £2 so she has sold a considerable amount of items in order to raise these funds and we greatly appreciate her efforts.’
