Casualty recovered to Swanage all-weather lifeboat being transferred Swanage Lifeboat Station where an ambulance was waiting.
The casualty had suffered a head injury and needed evacuation to get further medical treatment. Volunteers from St Albans HM Coastguard and Community First Responders were on scene attending to the casualty and it had been decided that the safest and quickest recovery route was by sea.

The lifeboats launched and were soon on scene to assist the on scene emergency services with the transfer from the lower ledge to the inshore lifeboat, before being transferred to the all-weather lifeboat.

The all-weather lifeboat took the short trip back to Swanage to meet an ambulance.

With the casualty in the care of the medics the lifeboats were rehoused, washed down and made ready for the next service.
