Workington RNLI launched all-weather lifeboat Dorothy May White.

The 24ft fishing boat, with two people on board, had engine failure.

Conditions were deemed unsafe to transfer the people on board on to the lifeboat so the vessel was taken under tow to the nearest available port, Maryport Harbour.
