Inshore lifeboat launches to paddleboarders in difficulties in Studland Bay
A paddleboarder had called 999 in Studland Bay and asked for assistance.
The ILB launched quickly and was soon alongside the casualties. The volunteer lifeboat crew assesed both people from the paddleboard who were OK but one was starting to get cold. They were both taken aboard the lifeboat and taken ashore at South Beach.
With the situation resolved the lifeboat was free to return to Swanage.
ILB Crew: (Helm) Darren Tomes, Phil Palmer, Sam Aggas
