Minehead RNLI's visits team
Minehead RNLI's boathouse was extensively re-modelled in 2023, in time for the Institution's 200th birthday this year.

With a new boathouse came a new Visits team within the fundraising crew- Led by Ray Ventura, this team has shown countless visitors around the boathouse and explained all about how the station's volunteer crews save lives at sea.

The Visits Team is a vital part of the Minehead crew- Ray explained "We have put together a great team who have had an impressive year, winning recognition for providing an excellent insight into how RNLI Minehead works. Minehead ranks as one of the highest performing stations in the UK for visitor satisfaction"

Ray's aspiration for the 2025 summer season is for the visits team to be on hand 7 days a week- but this will require major expansion, and a number of new volunteers. Full training will be provided, and the time commitment is flexible.

If you are interested in giving up time to do something really worthwhile, contact Ray via the Visits Team email Minehead-RNLI-visits@ outlook.com or pop into the station.
