Bangor RNLI volunteers presented with Coronation medals
On Saturday evening, volunteers from Bangor RNLI welcomed the Lord-Lieutenant of County Down to Royal Ulster Yacht Club for the presentation of HM Kings Coronation medals to 15 crew members.
The King's Coronation Medals were awarded to frontline emergency service workers to mark the coronation of RNLI patron, King Charles III, and Queen Camilla which took place on 6 May 2023.

He then presented each recipient present with their Kings Coronation medal. After the medal presentations were completed Kevin Byers presented the Lord Lieutenant with an RNLI plaque on behalf of Bangor lifeboat as a token of thanks.
