Triple celebrations for Silloth RNLI
On Thursday 28 November, volunteer Crew Mick Satterthwaite and Ron Kelly passed their tractor driver training and later in the week fellow Crew member, David Ferrier completed lifeboat training at the RNLI College in Poole, Dorset.
Everyone at Silloth RNLI Lifeboat Station are proud of the recent achievements. Rebecca Clark, Press Officer for Silloth said:
'Congratulations to the three lads for their achievements. We have an open recruitment on many roles here at the station and I hope when people read our posts on social media and come along to watch our Atlantic 85 lifeboat launch on exercise on Sunday mornings that they will be inspired to join our team and help make a difference to the community.'
