Seahouses lifeboat called to investigate partially submerged craft at Beadnell

At 9.14pm on Wednesday 21 August 2024 Seahouses RNLI inshore lifeboat was tasked by HM Coastguard, to investigate a partially submerged small pleasure/fishing boat, near the entrance to Beadnell Harbour.

Local Coastguard Officers were on the shoreline but were unable to establish that the boat was unoccupied.

The inshore lifeboat crew checked the vessel on arrival at Beadnell and confirmed that there were no occupants. Once confirmed, the lifeboat was released and returned to station. Local Coastguards were contacting the local Harbour Master and making enquiries to trace the boat owner.
