The partnership will see Grangers supply the RNLI’s All-weather Lifeboat crews with Performance Wash (both spray-on and wash-in versions), Clothing Repel and Performance Repel Plus, helping to extend the life of volunteer crews' kits. Additionally, they’ll provide Wetsuit Wash and Active Wash to both Lifeguards and Inshore Lifeboat Crews respectively.

Since 1937, Grangers has been at the forefront of developing innovative products designed to protect and extend the life of outdoor clothing. As part of this new partnership, Grangers will provide the RNLI with best-in-class cleaning and reproofing solutions, ensuring RNLI lifesavers stay dry and protected as they save lives at sea in a demanding environment.

The partnership goes beyond product support, as Grangers will actively commit to supporting the RNLI for the next three years through a variety of lifesaving activities. These include delivering drowning prevention messages to their customers, supporting fundraising and safety campaigns, product innovation and donating 10p from every product sold in the UK, USA and Australia to the RNLI. Plus, every October, 50% of Grangers' online sales will also be donated to the charity.

Sam Holliday, Senior Strategic and Operational Partnerships Manager at the RNLI, said:

'We are excited to introduce Grangers as the RNLI’s Official Aftercare Partner. Their dedication to sustainability and the longevity of outdoor gear aligns perfectly with our mission to ensure the safety and effectiveness of our volunteers at sea.

'Their products will not only lead to the longevity of the crew kit but act as an extra layer of defence when our volunteers are conducting rescues in often extreme conditions. We look forward to working closely with Grangers to make a lasting impact.'

Natasha Barwell-Jones, Head of Marketing at Grangers commented:

'We are so excited to partner with the RNLI, whose work to save lives at sea and educate against the dangers is unparalleled.

'Since 1937, we’ve been committed to protecting outdoor enthusiasts and prolonging the life of their clothing, footwear and equipment. This partnership means that we can go one step further to protect those who are dedicated to saving lives. '

Grangers is also committed to sustainability and environmental protection. All of their products are PFC-free and bluesign© approved, with packaging made from 100% recycled, Prevented Ocean plastic. In fact, Grangers was the first aftercare brand to receive bluesign® approval back in 2007 and invent a 2-in-1 clean and reproof solution in 2005, highlighting their long-standing dedication to eco-friendly practices.
