Come and meet Hunstanton RNLI crew at their annual flag day
A Norfolk lifeboat crew will be out in town for their annual flag day on 24 August.
There will also be a pop-up shop selling RNLI merchandise and souvenirs in The Spinney, at the end of the High Street.
Like more than 200 stations around the coast of the UK and Ireland, the work of Hunstanton lifeboat station is entirely funded by donations and legacies.
As well as supporting the charity that saves lives at sea, flag day is also an opportunity to meet crew members, chat to them about what they do and find out more about some of the roles on offer at the station.
Hunstanton is one of the busiest stations in Norfolk, whose volunteers operate a fast inshore lifeboat and a search and rescue hovercraft from their base on Sea Lane.
They cover The Wash, a tidal estuary stretching for more than 100 square miles fed by five main rivers, along with parts of the north Norfolk coastline.
