Llandudno Lifeboat Open Day: A Spectacular Success!
Llandudno RNLI would like to extend a heartfelt 'thank you' to everyone who joined us for our Open Day on Sunday, 11th August. With the sun shining brightly, it was a day filled with excitement, community spirit, and a deep appreciation for our lifesaving services.
A highlight of the day was the chance to meet the crew of Llandudno RNLI, along with our partners from the local Coastguard Rescue Team. The RNLI’s beloved mascot, Stormy Stan, was also on hand to entertain both young and old throughout the event!
The all-weather and inshore lifeboats launched for a dynamic display and rescue demonstration. These showcases not only highlighted the dangers associated with small inflatables on the water, but also illustrated the remarkable capabilities of our lifeboats.
We are especially thrilled to share that, thanks to the incredible generosity of our visitors and the fantastic fundraising efforts, we raised an amazing £4,093.
'This vital funding will greatly support our life-saving work at sea, ensuring we can continue to protect our community and those who enjoy our waters.
'We are truly grateful to everyone who attended our Open Day and supported the RNLI. The enthusiasm and generosity inspires us all and together, we can make a real difference in saving lives at sea.
'Thank you for being part of our lifesaving mission.'
