Montrose RNLI to host Lunan House event to raise funds to save lives at sea

Lifeboats News Release

On Saturday 21 September, Montrose RNLI will be hosting an exciting event to help save lives at sea and celebrate 200 years of the RNLI.

The celebratory event will be held at the Lunan House Hotel, Lunan Bay, on Saturday 21 September, starting at 5.30pm, and is set to be an incredible fundraising event.

There is a superb line-up of entertainment for the evening, headlined by the band Pepperpot. The evening will also feature a performance from Garry Seagraves the Magician, plenty of games to keep the evening fun-filled and will also feature a silent auction.

Each guest will receive a glass of prosecco on arrival and food platters will be available on each table.

Heather Murray, Head of Fundraising at Montrose RNLI and event organiser, says: ‘We’re delighted to be hosting our 200 years celebration event on Saturday 21 September at the Lunan House Hotel, in aid of Montrose RNLI, to help us continue to save lives at sea. It’s an exciting time with the charity’s 200-year anniversary, and we’re encouraging everyone to get involved where they can.

‘There are many ways to get involved, whether that’s buying a ticket, sponsoring the event or donating a prize for the silent auction. Any support is much appreciated, and will help us to save lives at sea for another 200 years.’

Tickets are priced at £25 per adult, and are available to order on Eventbrite here: https://bit.ly/RNLIMontrose200
