Stepping Down after 17 Years...

Farewell wishes to former Head Launcher Derek Chapman who has stepped down from his role here at The Lizard Lifeboat Station.

Derek had been a member of the Shore Crew team for almost 17 years having been a volunteer since 2007. Derek was appointed Head Launcher at the station in 2021 but reluctantly stepped down due to his work commitments.

We thank you Derek for your commitment and loyal service to The Lizard Lifeboat Station and wish you all the very best in the future.
