Volunteers from Newbiggin RNLI Lifeboat Station joined a record number of members of the public who attended the annual Remembrance Service and Parade in Newbiggin by the Sea today. The Newbiggin Coastguard team led the parade from the centre of the village up to the Memorial Garden.
Beautiful sunny weather blessed the proceedings that were well attended with record numbers of people taking part including most of our volunteer team from Newbiggin Lifeboat Station.
The Northumberland Vice Lord Lieutenant laid the first wreath on behalf of His Majesty the King with many other wreaths laid including one from Newbiggin Lifeboat Station.
