Family of late RNLI volunteer Barrie Lazenby make donation to Whitby RNLI
The money was raised at the funeral of Barry who was volunteer shop manager in Whitby.
Barbara said: 'Barrie was a lifelong supporter of the RNLI and was Shop Manager in Whitby for around 2 years. Whitby was his favourite place and he was very fond of the town. We would like the funds to go directly to Whitby RNLI'
It was a pleasure to meet Barrie's family especially his grandson Daniel who is also an RNLI supporter and used to help his grandad by labelling the goods in the RNLI shop.'
