The tender had one person on board aground on the eastern side of the marshes, just outbound of the wooden wave screen. The lifeboat launched with Greg (Helm), Jamie, Rob and Allan. During the launch operation the crew could see the casualty on the marshes and proceeded to the location. After contacting the Coastguard to pass crew numbers, the lifeboat got stood down as the casualty managed to float their tender by themselves.

The lifeboat was asked to do a welfare check before getting recovered to the boat house. The casualty didn’t request anymore assistance and made its own way back to the pontoon. Lifeboat was recovered at 11:30am and was back on pager after it had been prepared for service again.
